3rd EUSDR Annual Forum to take place in Vienna on 26 & 27 June 2014
On 26 and 27 June 2014, the 3rd Annual Forum of the European Strategy for the Danube Region will take place in the City Hall of Vienna, Austria.


The Annual Forum is the main event of the year for the EUSDR, assembling stakeholders from the whole Danube area to showcase and discuss opinions and experiences....

The Coordinators of the Priority Areas (PACs) of the EU Danube Region Strategy (EUSDR) are expected to submit an Annual Progress Report to the Directorate-General for Regional Policy of the European Commission on the progress made regarding the implementation of the targets and actions of the Strategy in their Priority Area....

A year focused on RIS in Hungary
River Information Services (RIS) are harmonized information services which support the traffic and transport management of inland navigation, including - if technically feasible - connections with other means of transport.

In Hungary, the PannonRIS system is permanently developed and operated in the framework of a co-operation between the Ministry of National Development (NFM), the National Transport Authority (NKH) and the National Association of Radio Distress-Signalling and Infocommunications (RSOE)....

This is to inform you that a new section is available on this website titled "Documents" (see tabs in horizontal menu bar) in which important documents for the EUSDR's Priority Area 1a on inland waterways are and will be made availbale for download. Documents include Annual Progress Reports by the PACs, strategic as well as political documents and others.

MoU on inland waterway transport signed between Romania and Bulgaria

On the 11th of October 2012, the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria signed a Memorandum of Understanding on setting up an Interministerial Committee for sustainable development of inland waterway transport on the Romanian-Bulgarian common sector of the Danube....
